Fundraiser to Fun Obsession!
I have always loved creating pretty things with my hands. When I was a kid I did needlework, creating beautiful embroidered linens and needlepoint pillow covers and pictures. I also learned to sew, making "not so beautiful" articles of clothing. When my daughter's synchronized swimming team needed a fundraiser, I decided to teach myself to make some simple jewelry pieces to sell at a local swim meet. I enjoy jewelry and had always thought that it would be interesting to make jewelry. What started as a simple little project has turned into a passion--from one little box of beads to a roomful of tools and equipment!
Creating new jewelry designs is a challenge I love! My passion evolved to working with metals, so receiving a kiln as a gift several years ago added a wonderful dimension to my work. I love color, so the ability to create colorful jewelry with enamel is always exciting and has limitless possibilities. That’s where I am today:) Keep posted for new, one-of-a-kind, designs! Earrings coming soon!
